Hello

My first question is:
If my permanent resident (PR) is in process, but my passport expires in two (2) years, will i only get 2 years instead of five years for my (PR)?

Second:
If i renew my passport while my (PR) is still in process, what should i do?

Thank you in advance

No, the copr is valid for x number of days. The validity of your passport has nothing to do with pr time.
If your passport is valid for 2 years still i wouldnt renew until you have to (closer to 6 months until expiration)

There isn't time limit on PR status and the validity of a PR card has nothing to do with passport validity.
