if you marry someone without status and living with you inside Canada......you can sponsor the person under inland spousal sponsorship......but the person will not be eligible to apply for OWP as they are out-of-status......the inland spousal sponsorship will be processed regardless of the principal applicant status, however if you submit OWP with the inland spousal sponsorship, the OWP will be refused as the sponsored applicant must have status when the application is received.
