PR for Spouse

Hi,
I am an Indian citizen working here in Toronto since last 1.5 years. I am on work permit and it is valid till DEC 2014. I am planning to apply the PR in CEC category. I am single now. In Nov 2013, i am going to India for marriage. in Dec 2013 my status will be married from single. My questions are as follows:-

1. If i will apply the PR in SEP 2013, Can i change my status from single to married in the application and add my wife as a spouse in the application in DEC 2013.
2. If i will apply the PR in SEP 2013, Can my wife apply the dependent visa from India and come here along with me in DEC 2013, the add her PR application along with me when she will come here.

If anyone has any idea, Please share your thoughts. Thank You

For 1st question

Yes, Once you can get married you can update CIC with your status and Spouse details ( i believe you need to some more forms for this purpose


For second question

I think She can come here on Dependent visitor Visa even though she is your dependent wife. Let's see what other folks say on this

Yes, you can update your marital status once you get married. Just email your visa office after you get married and they will send you the list of documents that are required to add your spouse to you application.

2. If i will apply the PR in SEP 2013, Can my wife apply the dependent visa from India and come here along with me in DEC 2013, the add her PR application along with me when she will come here. - I know PGWP holder's spouse can apply for a an open work permit. But I am not sure what are the conditions on your WP. Seniors may be able to better comment on this.
