Hi,

I am an International student in the University of Waterloo studying computer science bachelors (from India). I arrived in September 2016 and will graduate in April 2021, took part in the coop program and spent 4 + 4 = 8 months of coop in the US, and the rest of 16 months coop in Canada (Ontario).

I am wondering when I could apply for the PR after graduating? I have spent most of my time in Canada and I have been in Canada since 6th January this year and won't leave for the foreseeable future so I believe I can also count 2 days as 1 day when applying for the PR status?

Is the rule different for Quebec if I got a fulltime job there?

Thanks

What do you mean 2 days for 1 day ? I think you are getting confused about citizenship applications there no such benefit for a PR application.

You need to apply for a PGWP, get Canadian work experience and then apply for PR. Work experience whilst studying in Canada counts for nothing in a PR application.

Applying for PR through Quebec has extra complications so maybe avoid unless you really want to live in Quebec
