PR Card

I am planning to do landing procedure on June 18th, 2010 and I am planning to apply for PR card then.

But it is my understanding that it takes about 4 to 6 weeks to get PR card. I will be leaving canada on June 20, 2010. I am planning to re-enter on July 2, 2010.

My question is would I be able to do so without a PR card on the basis of PR Visa and COPR.

Please suggest.

only by land. to enter by air you need to get a travel document from the Canadian embassy (overseas visa office)

Let me get this straight,i do have USA visa and was planning to go to Detriot via car ,would i be able to come back to Canada without my PR and with only the landing visa!!!
