Hi

I landed at the Emerson, Manitoba POE on the 20th of May 2012

Still have not received my pr card, they said it would take 6-8 weeks or 44 Business days, but nothing yet. What gives? Anyone with similar experiences?

You should get your PR cards by the end of next week. If not then call the central number and inquire the reason for delay.

In the same situation. Landed a week before you and still waiting. I called CIC call canter but they don't really know, the only thing they say next week!

i have two of my friends, one has landed in ottawa in 29th May and received his PRC yesterday on July 27th. the other one has landed on 24th May in toronto and still hasn't received his PRC.

i my self has landed on June 16th and still waiting as i have 2 more weeks to expect,

so it depends but maximum you can wait 9 weeks then you have to call to follow up.

I will definitely call them again, but seriously they don't know if there is any reason for the delay and that's why sometimes they say we will send an investigation to know why. The problem I am afraid of is that they didn't ask me in the airport for my photos, and I dont know if they've got them from my cic file

They will use photo from your file. don't worry - relax.
