Hi All,

I am applying for PR card renewal with 770 days of RO out of the last 5 years as my PR card will expire in Aug and I am planning to travel later this year or early next year. While I was filling the PR application form I came across some doubts or questions related to address, work and travel history:

1. In line 19 - "Address history inside and outside Canada" - I have lived in 3-4 different cities in Canada in the last couple of years and frequently changed addresses in each city and it always took couple of months for me to update address in driver's license and/or health card. Is it ok to enter the dates I moved in to a new location in address history section even though my address in DL or health card was roughly updated after 2-3 months from my initial move in date? I am assuming it will be correct to enter the address based on move in date as all the months in last 5 years will be accounted in this case.

2. In line 20 - "Work and Education history" - I was unemployed for roughly four months in the last 5 years out of which I was unemployed for 2 months in India (moved to India from middle east before permanently relocating to Canada) and initial 2 months in Canada. Should I list these unemployment duration separately or as one chunk of 4 months? Please note this section requires you to input city and country for each line.

3. In line 21 - "Travel history" - I did my initial landing back in 2015 for 1 month and then left Canada for more than 2.5 years. During these 2.5 years I traveled extensively between middle east and India mainly on vacation. Should I list all my travel history during this period or can I get away with entering only one line for 2.5 years and enter my country of residence as the location during absence?

4. Section G - This section requires you to sign, date and mention the city/province. I am resident of BC but right now I am visiting a friend in Ottawa and will be mailing my application from here and will mention Ottawa and Ontario as the city and province. My residential address in line 12 contains my address in BC but in line 13 I gave a mailing address in Toronto, Ontario. I hope with residential address in BC, mailing address in Toronto and application sent from Ottawa will not raise any red flags on my application.

5. Line 11 - "Height" - I realized that during my PR application back in 2015 I had entered wrong height. Is it ok to update correct height in PR renewal application?

Thanks

"I am assuming it will be correct to enter the address based on move in date as all the months in last 5 years will be accounted in this case."
Yes

" was unemployed for 2 months in India (moved to India from middle east before permanently relocating to Canada) and initial 2 months in Canada. Should I list these unemployment duration separately or as one chunk of 4 months? Please note this section requires you to input city and country for each line."
How could you lump the 4 months together if you have to input city and country for each line and you were in two different countries?

"During these 2.5 years I traveled extensively between middle east and India mainly on vacation. Should I list all my travel history during this period or can I get away with entering only one line for 2.5 years and enter my country of residence as the location during absence?"
It asks for your TRAVEL HISTORY - not your pretending to be in one place and not travelling history.

"5. Line 11 - "Height" - I realized that during my PR application back in 2015 I had entered wrong height. Is it ok to update correct height in PR renewal application?"
Sure. You might have grown some in the interim.

Here's a general principle to follow - tell the truth.
