PR Card Renewal

Hi,

I have applied for PR Card renewal inside Canada and want to know how long it takes to get the file number or acknowledgement from CPC. Will they send the file number at my residential address in Canada or they will send on email.

Do not expect to be sent anything except the actual card (or the letter requesting to pick up in person). You can check your status online with your PR card as ID number.

I tried to check my status online but found nothing how long does it take to get the status update?
