PR Card Renewal - AOR

My application for renewal of PR card is received by CIC a couple of days back. I was wondering when i can expect to get the AOR inorder to track the status of my application. My card expires in June,2017 and i may have to travel back home before that, incase i travel and return back after the card has expired how will i be able to enter, i am under FC category.

Also is it possible to be employed incase the PR card is expired. What is the total number of days now required for citizenship?

When was the application received by CIC. Usually the processing time is around 50 days.
Under normal circumstances, you should expect to get the PR card in 50 days (may be additional delay of 10-15 days). In case, you do not receive PR card before June because of some reason, then you can go back home and apply for PRTD.
You can apply for job as only sin card is needed, employers don't look for your PR card usually.
