When I received my initial PR card I noticed that my middle name was dropped during the PR application process. I applied for an amendment of record of landing so I can have my pr card reissued with my middle name. The amendment was approved but now I only have 60 days to apply to have the card reissued and I need to send my current PR card. The problem is that I am going to travel in December and with the current processing times there is a good possibility that my new PR card won't arrive before my trip. I called cic and they said that if I travel with my current card I might get questioned about the name change and why I haven't applied to have my card reissued. If I travel without my card then I would have to apply for a PRTD and the process doesn't sound trustworthy by any means. Anyone who has had a similar experience like this?
