Hi Everyone:

I have an immigrant visa (expires in Jun 2017) sponsored by Spouse from Totonto. I did my landing and returned back to continue with my job in Muscat, have received my PR card 2 mts back. Now my husband plans to come and join me in Muscat and take up a job so we can live together.

Here are few questions.

1. Do i need to be physically present in Canada to keep my pernament resident status ?, if so for how many days, incase my husband joins me in Muscat will the days be counted, since i have heard it possible that way as well.
2. How can i prove to the immigration that my husband who is already a citizen is living with me in Muscat.

Awaiting an answer since my husband plans to move shortly.

Thanks....

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
1. If your husband is a Canadian citizen, your days spent living with him count the same as days spent in Canada towards the PR residency requirements.

2. Can you add him to your lease and your utilities? Can you show that he gets mail to your address? That would help. Does he have a visa to live there? Will he be working? You should be able to show proof of that.
