PR Card Delivery / PRRD

Hi everyone,

I got my Ecopr Sep 12 and I’m waiting for my PR Card in the mail, however I have no idea if they already mailed it and it’s stuck in Canada Post facilities due to their strike, or if they havent even processed it

I need to make an emergency last minute trip outside canada for family medical reasons, however I don't have the PR card and most likely it will be delivered when Im outside Canada.

One of the requirements for soliciting the PR Travel Document is to not have an actual PR card, so I’m super confused on how to proceed here… If anyone has any insights I’d appreciate it

Technically you don't have a PR card. You can apply for PRTD.

Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) is an option if you have enough time to wait the approval, what can take some weeks. If you have US visa, your can cross the border by walk or private vehicle. You entry into Canada is guaranteed under these circumstances. By flight or bus, the companies won't allow you to boarding.
