Hope someone can assist. My PR card expired last June and i have been living abroad for most of the time since receiving it. I am living with my spouse who is a Canadian citizen by naturalization. I did apply to renew last November by having it mailed in Canada , but never got a response and tried online to see if the status as well. It doesn't show up as processed or received.
Basically, should I apply for an entry visa at the local consulate, go to Canada and re-apply ? I can as i need to go to Canada in December . Or out of caution should i go before and re-apply and have it mailed to a Canadian address so i would have it before I travel in December ? Also does time spent with a Canadian citizen still count ?
