HI,
I had landed in Canada in the first week of June2011 and came back after one month. In December 2011, I got a red letter from Immigration that my photo has been rejected and I need to send a fresh photograph. I subsequently sent them new photographs as per specification. Now again they have rejected the photograph.
I know through their website that I may apply for PRTD from Canadian Embassy and later could apply for PR card after reaching there.
Now I have the following queries from all of you seniors and experienced members:
1. What does it mean " your PR file will be closed and you have to apply for a fresh PR, if you do not apply within 180 days of receipt of this letter". Does it mean that I will lose my PR status and I will never be able to come to Canada again!!
2. What would happen, if I do not approach them within the specified time period and apply afresh for PR card (after expiry of the deadline)!
3. Is that procedure is very difficult to get the PR card!! How much time the process will take place!!
4. Can I request local Canadian embassy to issue me a PRTD with a 6 months validity!!
Please answer all these queries one by one.
Really appreciates all the good work you all are doing.
