Hi all,
I submitted an inland PR application to sponsor my wife just under a month ago. However, we just received an email today that our application was returned, as per the email:
“Our office processes Family Class Sponsorship applications where the Principal Applicant resides overseas. It appears the application was sent to our office in error.”
Prior to submitting, we made sure to submit an inland application. However the email is saying that it was submitted to the wrong office. We’re able to look through our application and sure enough the subcategory was Outland, even though we clearly remember sending an inland one.
We are given the option to resubmit it, but the portal doesn’t allow us to change the categories for the application. Would we have to resubmit it as it is, or would we have to submit a brand new application?
If anyone has any experience in this, it would be great to know. Thank you.
