My wife and I are applying for permanent residency under her name. I've been living in Canada for the last 4 years and her the last 1.5. We are both US citizens and she has been working on a spousal open NAFTA work permit that I obtained from my job. We qualify for express entry and have completed filling out the application along with all of the supporting things needed, but we want to make sure we're doing a few things correctly and have everything we need before submitting:

- Since she is currently working on an open work permit she would answer NO to the question of having a valid job offer, correct? She would then just list her current and previous full-time Canadian and US jobs in her work experience?

- Her previous Canadian job is being difficult about including the NOC code on her job letter. The job qualifies for a code which my wife knows, but how important is it to have them write it in the letter? It otherwise contains all of the necessary info, and her current job has included the NOC code. We need to be able to list this job as it gives her over a year of skilled work within Canada that our points depend on.

- To add to that, I still haven't received pay stubs from one of the Canadian companies I worked for in the last few years. I still expect to get these, but is it a problem if I don't?

- She has dual bachelors degrees and a masters that have had their Canadian equivalency checked. Should they all be added, or just the masters?

- I have a high school degree and partial college, but have not had the degree's equivalency checked and have no college transcripts. Should all of these just be omitted?

- How accurate do our estimation of funds need to be? We have much more than the minimum, but I don't want there to be a problem if they see that we have thousands more than what we listed.

- My wife is currently pregnant and won't be able to complete the medical exam x-ray until after the baby is born in February. We understand that we can have a partial exam done which will put our application on hold until the x-ray can be performed, but are there any gotchas to know about for this?

- How long does it take from submitting our initial application to be selectable from the pool? We're planning on submitting this weekend and hope we're eligible to be drawn by next weekend, but we're not sure if things will process that quickly. I assume an agent has to determine our approximate amount of points?

Thank you.
