My situations: I am on a Post graduate work permit in canada and have been working in canada for a year now. I got married in Aug 2013 and my wife has got her TRV. She will be joining me in January 2014. She has not come to canada yet ( since our marriage in Aug 2013).
Doubts:
1. Can I file my PR application today when my wife is in India ( but she will join me in Jan).
2. If I file my PR, would this create any issues while her entry / immigration in Canada in Jan. ( She has visitor visa till mid of 2015).
3. If, I can apply and while PR application is in process, can she apply for a work permit in month of Feb 2014. Is there any known issues in this scenario?
Any help for these questions will be appreciated.
