PR application in "process" since 2017

Hello,
I will appreciate any assistant;
I was eligible for Express Entry federal skilled trade worker In Nov. 2016, I received ITA, and submitted all supporting documents by Dec. 2016 .
since Mar. 2017 my CIC profile shows as " in process" I have tried to call IRCC many times the only answer I get is that my case is send for security check and I have to wait.........
I have no idea what to do , anyone has experienced anything similar ?

I once had a security check take 18 months, but this seems excessive. Make a request for your GCMS notes. If there is any information to be had, it will be there.
