PR application in process and need to travel to home country

My PR application is almost complete and got the passport request as well, but need to travel to home country, cancelling tickets will cost a fortune, not sure what to do. Any suggestion/opinion will help. Thanks in advance.

Send passport after you return from home country.

Calling customer care CIC and getting an alternate option to your situation would surely help.
