Hello,
I am currently an applicant for PR in my final steps of the process. About to receive medicals. I applied as a single applicant.
My question is: I am currently back home and may get married here with my fiance. My fiance is on a employer sponsored workpermit in Canada. She is about to apply for her PR application under CEC
I am an international student currently. If I add her to my application, it will certainly slow down my application or delay it by a few months. However, if we do get married back home (in relgious ways) and not legally (in the court), get back to Canada and stay the way back we are (in separate cities - meet on weekends, etc).
Once we both get our PRs, and we declare our marriage to Canadian government in court (fresh court marriage)
Only thing we will be lying is our status as single in our applications (when she applies for her PR)
Would this be okay? any thoughts?
