Hi everyone, does anyone know if immigration officers consult past details of TRVs to make PR decision? I made a honest error when I first applied to come to canada from Italy to study, and I had since received PGWP after study permit. Now planning to apply for PR under EE CEC as a dependant and my husband as principal applicant. what should I do? Partner and I are confused.. do I talk about the error in PR application or do I just apply as normal. Really worried, please help. Error was not remembering to declare a german visa refusal and a 7 months work experience
Thank you.. Adeleher

Yes any information you may have provided to IRCC in the past can be used on future applications. An omission of a previous visa refusal is considered a misrepresentation (fraud), but as long as you come clean from your side through an LOE and explaning clearly why you may have missed it before IRCC realizes it you should be ok. But if you're unsure it would be a good idea to visit an experienced immigration lawyer just in case.
