Hi,
Thank you for the advice that exactly the cic agent told me but the problem is i can no longer contact my husband this time after he submit all the requirements with his medical and police clearance base in Riyadh Saudi Arabia last 2014. My last news from his niece told me that he is not interested to come with us here in Canada anymore. So unfair in our side with my children, i don't want to jeopardize our rights to become a permanent resident just because of him, thats why i decided to send a letter to cancel my sponsorship for him sent to Alberta and Abu dhabi immigration office thinking to speed up the processing for my children. I posted my letter in my topic PR additional requirements please help me what to do next. Thanks

It's mandatory for your husband to take and pass the medical in order for your PR visa to be approved. It doesn't matter if he is or isn't coming to Canada with you - he must still take the medical. You can only exclude your husband from taking the medical if you can prove that you are divorced, have legally started the divorce process or are legally separated.

Thank you Scylla,

So in this case, if i can get his cooperation to do the medical examination again as i understand the first medical was already expired last September 2015. Do we need the request form from cic for the doctor to do the re.medical so we can catch up the deadline? Or i need to request it from the cic i not sure how it work. Please need your advice.... thanks

My second option to file a divorce or legal separation but i have no idea how long it will take the process. Is it possible to request for extension of the deadline they set for me? Incase he won't really cooperate.
