Pròof of funds query - experts pls advise

Hi Folks,

We are in the planning stage to apply for immigration throuh EE. Iam working as an accountant and maintain a joint bank account with my husband. My monthly salary also gets deposited in this account only.

1. Getting a bank reference letter showing balance amount in this joint account will be sufficient?
2. My husband maintains a separate bank account as well and he wiĺl be accompanying me . So can I show half amount in our joint account and other half from my husbands account ?

3. Also while appling the main application after receiving ITA, uploading a bank reference letter showing my account balance is sufficient or i need to show them my last 6 months or 1 year bank statement as well ?

Along with the Bank Reference Letter, you need to obtain last 6 months statements.

Yes, you can show the amounts accumulated in more than 1 bank account belonging to either of you OR joint bank account

Minimum 6 months bank statement is required. No harm in showing more than 6 months. What matters is you have the required money in total available to you.
