PPR1 & PPR2 applicable to pakis in UAE??

HI ALL,
I WAS HOPING IF SOME1 COULD TELL ME IF PPR1 & PPR2 APPLIES TO PAKISTANIS LIVING IN UAE? DOES THE PASSPORT REQUEST FOR PAKIS IN UAE COME IN 2 STEPS OR IN 1 GO? PLZ SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES.

It's 'only' for applicants of CHC-Islamabad/London AND for those 'other' CHC's cases 'if they r currently residing in Pakistan'. The rationale being their inability to 'ship' their pps overseas from there.

If u r a CHC-London 'direct' case from the UAE -- it doesn't apply to u. Similarly, if u were an Isb/Lon transferee case, but currently reside in the UAE; and have 'updated' ur 'this status' with ur VO -- u'd've a 'direct PPR' as well.

Dear bro,

No, but in case you receive PPR-1 anyway, send them a CSE and they would send you a PPR instead. The reason for no PPR-1 and PPR-2 is comprehensively described by Captain above my comment. I had had the same situation few days back as they sent me PPR-1 while I was in UAE; I sent them CSE and in reply they sent me PPR in 3/4 days.

London VO asked for our passport copies & photos with the medicals,if this is not ppr1 what is it? Has this been asked to other uae residence too?

It's not... b'coz PPR [#1 or 2] comes AFTER ur med reports r recd by them, except for CHC-ND cases.

It wasn`t a letter. It was a page that was attatched to our medical forms & had the box next to photos & passport copies ticked.

It's not PPR-1 then. Just send them what they are demanding

Dear Qorax,

This case has happened wit me, although I have been a direct CHC Lon applicant, I received PPR1 (i dont know y)
they had given me 30 days to comply (send them copies of passps, photos and update form)
I written them email regarding this issue, that I live in the M.E, and have no plan to travel to Pak for the Visa,
its been a week since the email, they havent replied,my 30 days deadline is closing in on me. So worried.\
shall i wait for their reply, or send them the passports?
