Long time reader infrequent poster. I have a question about the passport submission. We received the PPR this week and the letter asks for submission to Islamabad. However, my spouse is currently in Turkey (originally from Afghanistan)
My questions are:
1. Are we able/allowed to submit the passport to a different office than what the letter says?
2. If not can we mail the passport from Turkey/Afghanistan?
3. How long does it usually take to get the passport back after submission (rough estimate)?

- AOR 1: Dec 3rd 2020
- Medical req: Dec 3rd 2020
- Biometrics req: Dec 3rd 2020
- SA: Dec 3rd 2020
- Medical submitted: Dec 26th 2020
- AOR 2: April 15 2021
- Biometrics submitted: June 11th 2021
- ADR: June 16th 2021
- ADR submitted: June 29 2020 (except for Afghan PCC that is still in process)
- PPR: June 29th 2020
