PPR stamping when primary applicant in one country and dependent in another?

Hi folks, I (primary applicant) recently received PPR request from CIC for self and my spouse (dependent applicant). I am based out of India so will be getting immigration stamp through VFS Global from High Commission in Delhi. The mail mentions the same.

My spouse is in the US on work, so we would like to get her immigration stamp from a Canadian Consulate in the US. Have already mailed the CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca but have not received any reply. Calls to the CIC Call center whether from inside Canada or outside Canada always go unanswered.

Just wanted to check if anyone has faced issue where primary applicant got stamped in one country and the dependent in the other country, when PPR came together. If so, how did you go about it? Your experiences and replies will be very helpful.
