In my PPR email, it said this about the in Canada mailing address regarding the return envelope we sent to them..
"DO NOT FILL OUT THE ADDRESS SECTION ON YOUR CANADA POST RETURN ENVELOPE."

Do you guys think it means the Return address (meaning the above one of where the mail is coming from) or was I not suppose to fill in my physical in Canada address into the bottom part (where the mail is going.)
I DID put my address down (the address my CoPR should be sent to) and it's the only one we've ever put down. Did I mess this up?

They mean the bottom part - where the envelope will be sent to. Just leave the return envelope alone. Don't write anything on it anywhere.

I wrote my address in...
the post office woman told me she gets this all the time and usually people just out their address on the return one like I did.

Someone else told me it doesn’t matter since I:
A. didn’t send my passport in.
Apparently the smal envelope is for the passport usually.
And
B. CoPR comes in a usual A4 letter sized mailing envelope.

not only that. The address I put down is the only address we’ve ever used on the application. So... they’d be sending that envelope with what ever they’d put in it to This house anyways.

Should I email them and explain the issue?

Don't listen to the post office woman. She doesn't work for the visa office. If the visa office doesn't want anything written on the return envelope, then don't write anything on the return envelope. It's pretty simple.

The CoPR is sent to you in that return envelope. That's why the visa office wants it. We know this because we've gone through the process already. Think about it for a minute. They know you're American. Why would they want you to include an envelope specifically for the return of a passport you're not submitting, and then use an entirely different envelope to mail the CoPR?

Try not to make stuff so hard when it doesn't have to be.

Solid input.
Small detail I missed while going through everything because I didn’t know what it meant when I first read it.
Now, like I’ve stated before, It’s been sent.
Do you have any advice on what I should do? Or just hindsight.

Well, there's not much you can do now. Hopefully, they won't consider it a big deal and just go ahead and mail the CoPR. I mostly wrote what I did for the benefit of others coming after you who might read this. Good luck!

Thanks,
I shot off an email basically saying we sent it, due to a misunderstanding we wrote this, more than willing to send another envelope of need be even though this is the only address we’d use.
