Hello everybody!

So, on Friday June 13, my husband got the passport request.

I had logged in to the ECAS and saw that his status was "desision made".

...

In the passport request letter, it was marked "urgent".

It said "IF your application is approved, you must be in canada by October 5 2018"

I always tend to overthink things, but is there any chance of refusal after PPR?

That "IF" makes me feel anxious.

Also, the letter said he had 5 days to submit the passport, photos and passport request letter to VFS.
He submitted today. July 17 2018.

At the end of the letter, it said they would try to have the passport back at VFS ready for pickup in 5 buisness days.

Is it time to start preparing for the big move? He has to sell our car and most of his belongings because he cant take everything with him. (I also have a house here in Canada with everything he needs)

Thank you

Please don't sell your belongings yet......start planning how to sell them but don't act yet...wait until you have recieved the PR visa before you finally dispose any assets.

Chances of refusal after PPR is very very low........IRCC will do a final review again before updating your application status from "Decision Made" to "Approved"......so don't over think the "IF".....congrats.

Chances of refusal are low, but can still happen. I've seen plenty of cases where they got a refusal letter even with a PPR, they just simply got their passports back with a sticker on it saying, "VISA not issued". This usually happens to people who just had an interview. If you've had no interview at all, and you got a Decision made with a PPR, then its 99.9% chance he got the visa.
