PPR Extension

Hi everyone,

I got my ppr on Dec 3. CIC said I have 30 days which is before Jan 1st.
So my question is I need to send my passport within 30 days or CIC needs to receive my passport before 1st Jan.

I have a trip to US from Dec 18th to 28th. I can send my passport on 28th Dec by UPS Express. UPS said it can be received on 31th Dec. But someone said the courier address changed, it will have a one day delay. Jan 1st is New Year holiday. It is really a pain in the ass.

I sent email to ircc webform to ask for extension, but i havenot received any reply. Can anyone help me. It is really complicated to cancel my trip to US.

wait, you will get a reply from them. Also, send them an email on the ID in PPR letter.

I would suggest you to still send email to that address as well. Maybe they will reply sooner.

Please note that webform request query will take approx 1 week or more for reply ... so plan accordingly ur priorities ..

What was the resolution of your problem. I am in the same boat. Raised web form ~ 2 weeks ago but no response.

Kinda same situation. Requested extension on 5th Feb via web form. Received auto email on Feb 7th and was told to this. From here I emailed CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca on the same day. Received extension on 11th Feb as a letter on CIC portal
