Hi All,

I am an applicant from India and have been requested for RPRF, thus I am assuming that I am not too far from receiving my PPR :) . I have been following the forum and thus know that the PPR deadline is usually a 30 days period. Having said that, the fear is I have a tour planned for which I would require my passport, which might overlap with the 30 days PPR submission period. Thus would want to understand a few things pointed below:

1) Is there a way in which I could have my 30 days deadline extended? Anyone with a similar experience and has successfully done that? If yes, then kindly share your experience and the process involved.
2) God forbid if the above is not possible, then how long does it take for the NDVO to stamp the VISA and give it back. Wondering if there is a speedy process available like a fast track or something to get the VISA stamped in a week or so by paying a little extra for the speedy services.

Any help is highly appreciated. Eagerly waiting for a response.

Thanks in advance.

Q1, I have the same question as I'm planning a trip also which needs my passport.

Q2, based on what I know from friends around, usually around 10 days or so....But still depends.

Hi nataliewg,
Thanks for the response.
Which country are you applying from? Did you receive your PPR already?

following this thread, since i expect a similar dilemma coming my way too

I was granted extension due to my travels. You could email CPC Ottawa explaining your situation
