I received my PPR for my permanent residency application in March. I applied through the outland application and the office where my application is being processed is still open, but the VAC I have to send the final documents through is closed until further notice.
I do not need to send my physical passport since I am from a visa waiver country and only need to send a photocopy. Is there a way to send these documents without using the VAC? Do you know if they will accept them any other way?
Any advice or information about past experiences you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Also, what are your thoughts about going to Canada and waiting this all out there. I know I will be there as a visitor till I can get my COPR, but I will no longer have a job in my home country at the end of this week anyways and want to be reunited with my wife who is a Canadian Citizen.
