Hi guys,

A couple of quick questions.

1) My PPR email has an address for Canada Post and one for courier. Does CanadaPost Expresspost or Priority qualify as courier? If not, should I just insert a prepaid expresspost envelope into a courier envelope (Purolator, FedEx, etc?)

2) There's no mention of pictures in the email. I've seen other members get that request. I'm guessing I don't have to send pictures, right?

Thanks!

1. Canada Post Express post qualifies as courier
2. That's right, No need to send photos.
3. Ensure you send the PPR mail printout.

I'm not certain if Canada Post Xpresspost qualifies as courier. Per below thread, Canada Post officials recommended that all Xpresspost be sent to the PO box. Couriers are DHL, Fedex, etc ... that require a signature on delivery.

Xpress post doesn't count as Courier. Fedex, UPS, DHL count as courier.

I have sent my documents to CIC through Expresspost and used the courier address, it was pretty much received by CIC.

Then you're lucky, because Canadapost is not Courier.

No, its not about being lucky, this pretty much works, people I know have done the same.

I meant lucky that they accept it, because there are instructions for a reason.

was there a weekend in between..bcoz since 10am today morning...I see mine ''out for delivery'' and then nothing else after that.

I think the mail person will deliver it as s/he probably knows this drop off location very well and makes it everyday.

Relax. They don't sign as far as I know. It's a PO Box. There wasn't a weekend in between. I sent mine last Monday and it was delivered on Thursday. There wasn't a signature. It just said "Item successfully delivered."

but the problem is I asked for sign...probably u dint ask..i dont care about the sign anymore..i just want them to receive it safely....very worried..how can I relax..its the passport afterall ..
