Postdoctoral experience

I will be submitting my documents under NOC 2121 . I would like to know if "Postdoctoral" experience count as "Work experience" in order to claim points? There was no job contract but salary was taxable and full-time job with 40hrs/week. Is it true that in Canada "Postdoctoral" experience is counted as a training experience?
