Please can someone clarify what the obligation is for working for the sponsoring employer under a PNP program after the PR has been received

The guidance says there needs to be AN OFFER for one-year post PR but this isn't the same as working for them so wanted to know if you must work for them for a minimum period / what is acceptable. I don't understand why there is a requirement for an offer to cover a period of one year post PR.

Or once you have PR and have satisfied landing requirements do you have the discretion to work where you wish for whom you wish if there is a better offer available. Are employers obliged to report if you leave/take up another offer in BC instead?

Keen to conform to what is required to avoid any PR issues.

Yet again you come to the rescue. Why does the offer cover a one year period ? Is that just to try and retain someone

I have every intention ofStaying in BC but there are so manysnippets of info that reshape things I wanted to ask you. Thank you again
