FYI...
Canadian Cooperation Office is issuing 2nd AORs on behalf of ND VO. Has anyone received 2nd AOR except me? Please share.

I received my 2nd AOR dated February 17 on March 10 via Canada Cooperation Office. I also got verification call from CHC ND on March 10. If the medicals also take that long to reach us then much of the time for medicals will be lost in the transit. Could you please let me know the date mentioned in your AOR and date you received it.

I had got my letter on march 4 and the ECAS mentioned a status indicating that the process started March 3. How did the verification call go? I havent yet any sign of verification call. Hope it comes soon.

In case of Medicals request they may consider postal delays. However as Canadian co-operation office in Nepal is sending out the mail, should not take more than a weeks delay given there are no surprise holidays (strikes).

First they called my boss and then called me. They asked about general things such as joining date, current position, job duties etc. They also called my home and asked where I work. Could you please tell me date printed in your AOR?

They called my boss at 11:07AM local time for less than five minutes. Around 25 minutes after they called me and again it lasted for about 5 minutes. They called at my office landline number as I have not given my boss mobile number in reference letter.

Relax my friend,
Not everyone gets verification calls. In my case, I guess they verified because name of the company has slightly changed. This change (new name) is mentioned in the website where as letter head and stamp still have old names. Bit confusing but it is the way things are at my office.

I am worried because in a few months i may be posted to another country for a while and i may have difficulty in submitting my medicals. So here i am crossin my fingers.

Got my medicals, passport and documents requests dated March 7, 2011. Please watch out guys as the deadline stipulated is 45 days and due to postal delays got the requests today march 22.

Congrats! Could you please let me know whether or not your medical request came through Canada Cooperation Office as the AOR or it came directly from the VO? Best wishes for your medicals.
