Hello,

So regarding the personal history that needs to be filled after ITA. Obviously i will mention my previous working experience but I did not mention them while creating the profile as my latest job satisfies the 3 years that is needed. Do i need to update my profile and add the previous jobs ? Is it okay to write down in the personal history that i was employed in company A but its not mentioned the in the profile initially created therefore no reference letter will be provided ?

On another note, if i update my profile and add more work experience (even tho not needed) will my tie breaking date rule change ? If i get it right, the tie breaking rule is when my application will be considered ? Date after wont be considered ?!

Sorry for the long inquiry and message. I did not get my ITA i just keep thinking about and want to be sure of everything once i get it hopefully.

Thank you :)

The tiebreaking rule only applies if you have the cutoff score, and it is not a problem for you to update your profile. You must do so in order to provide accurate information.

Thank you for replying back. So to get this right, i need to enter any job i had since 2010 ? But my latest job since 2016 is over 3 years that is needed ? Can i have it only included in the profile ?

As for the tiebreaking rule, so if i update my profile today, 9th of september. If the cut off is under my score but the tiebreaking rule is 20 august, then i wont receive ITA ?

Thank you

No, the tiebreaking rule only applies if you have the exact cutoff score. If you are above the cutoff score the tiebreaking rule is irrelevant. Furthermore if you already have an ITA, changing your information does not affect your profile submission date or in any way invalidate your ITA. You have to change your information if it isn't accurate when you submit your e-APR.

Thank you for replying back. I did not get my ITA im just thinking out loud i guess. So last question, is it fine to only mention the work experience im claiming points for which is 3 years ? Or do i have to write down every work experience i had for the past 10 years ? As i will only be able to arrange a reference letter from the work experience i am claiming points off. Thank you again :)
