Hi, just a quick question. I have about 14 months Canadian experience with 2 employers. My first employer gave me reference letter with 40 hours on it, the thing is I wasn't paid for 45 minutes of break while working hours so technically it was around 35 hours a week. When I applied I put 40 hrs on the application, got the ITA but now someone told me your hours should match your T4. What should I do in this case? Decline the ITA or correct the hours and attach the LOE?? Response will be much appreciated.

Well... Technically anything above 30 hours per week shouldn't matter, as that's what CIC is looking for. Does your T4 have an actual amount of hours worked? Or are you talking about your pay stubs?

If you are salaried, it shouldn't make a difference. If you are paid hourly, I would consider including it in the LOE. Because you might also raise questions if you recreate your profile and it says 35 hours, but your letter says 40 hours.
