Hello Friends,
I have some queries regarding post ITA please help me in this.

1) I got the ITA on April 13th, I'd like to know what are the next steps involved after getting an ITA.
I'd appreciate your valuable replies.

2) Do we get a separate mail requesting for Medicals or at what stage we have to get the medicals done.

3.What is e-APR, at what stage we get it? Is it before background check or prior to it? Are e-APR and AOR both same?

4) As I'm planning to get married but I don't want to lose my points. Is it possible for me to get married at e-APR stage,
will it affect my Express entry profile ?

5)And if I get married then how to add spouse without affecting my express entry profile and also do I have to show proof
of funds for both of us or only for me ?

1. Apply for eAPR
2. Upfront medical. CIC won't send any instructions
3. eAPR is electronic application for permanent residence. You submit it and after that you will get AOR.
4. Get married after submitting eAPR
5. Add spouse by raising a CSE. Spouse needs medical, PCC and PoF

Congratulations for the ITA!
Please find below my responses to your queries

1) I got the ITA on April 13th, I'd like to know what are the next steps involved after getting an ITA.
I'd appreciate your valuable replies: When you open your My CIC account... you will get to the e-APR, which is the electronic application. You will also find a document checklist, if not here, then check CIC website

2) Do we get a separate mail requesting for Medicals or at what stage we have to get the medicals done- Depends on which country you are in and what category. Like for FSWO in India, we did medicals upfront, before submitting e-APR. The medical report directly goes to IRCC and saves processing time

3.What is e-APR, at what stage we get it? Is it before background check or prior to it? Are e-APR and AOR both same?- e-APR is the electronic application and AOR is Acknowledgement of Receipt for e-APR. SO you get AOR letter when you submit electronic application with all required documents

4) As I'm planning to get married but I don't want to lose my points. Is it possible for me to get married at e-APR stage,
will it affect my Express entry profile ?- As per IRCC express entru rules, you have to maintain your points above that particular draw's cut-off score. So if marriage does not bring down your score below the cut-off then you should be fine. You can do this before e-APR or after E-APR, but will have to notify IRCC. You get 90 days after ITA to submit e-APR

5)And if I get married then how to add spouse without affecting my express entry profile and also do I have to show proof
of funds for both of us or only for me ?- You will have to go through with medicals, PCC, Passport, educational certificates etc for spouse as well. Not sharing information about spouse will be taken as misrepresentation and can lead to rejection of your application. List of funds required as per number of family members is given on CIC website. Please search

Hope this helps! I have tried to answer as per best of my knowledge. Others can share more.

Check out the forum for groups of applicants who got ITA along with you. They will be able to guide you and share experience. Also there are ITA specific whatsapp groups. Try finding yours and join

Cheers!

Thanks alot for clearing most of my queries, one doubt I learnt marriage before e-Apr will get the points recalculated and after e-Apr will not affect the points, is that true ?

Thank you! So, will adding spouse after eAPR, result in points being recalculated?
Also, do we need to get education credentials done for spouse too?

I only have the eAPR same as Express Entry with a few extra sections. But can't find a document checklist anywhere. Do I need to submit eAPR before getting to the documents upload section?
