I am confused regarding the travel history and personal Activity.

If i was studying from 2014 to 2018 and in between I traveled to my home country for 4 months because of summer semester do I have to include that in my personal activity section as an unemployed or I just insert it in travel history section?

CIC guidelines state that you don't need to include your travel to and from your resident country and home country. So in your case from 2014-2018 your resident country will be the country you studied in ... lets say country A. Your home country is Country B.

So when you say you traveled to your home country B for those 4 months. Was it a holiday or part of your studies.

If it was a holiday I would just keep those 4 months as resident of country A and not show travel to home country B.

if it was a exchange program and you did in your home country I would just include that in Country B and show it as education only.

There is no one "correct" way as such and you can do what feels right. Personally I would go with option 1.

Just to add I think it needs to be part of personal activity only. No need to add that in travel section.
