Hi All,

For some reason in my country, they are issuing passport with inconsistent way!

For example my name in my passport Ahmad Medhat Said Ahmad. My father name in his passport: Medhat Sayed Ahmed. Of course I have all my documents matching my name in my passport. My question is: in the family section, should I put my father name as is in my passport (Medhat Said Ahmad) or using his name (Medhat Sayed Ahmed)?

Mention as per the passport. Also, it should match with your other documents.

Thanks. Just to make sure I understood you. My name in my passport matches all the documents I have. However, my father name in his passport mismatches with my name in my passport (accordingly, it mismatches all of my documents). So you are suggesting to put my name as my passport and his name (in my family section) as his passport name, right?

How can your father's name mismatch with your name? Obviously you do have different names.

Sorry, I mean me and my father sharing the same names but with different English spelling, that is why I am concerned.
If there is a mismatch, get it corrected.
