Hi Guys
Just completed the Post ITA forms
then the check list for my step kid(Canadian citizen by birth, my wife's kid from her first marriage) asks for proof of Canadian Citizenship of all the kid's Canadian family members, which includes my wife and her ex-husband. (we listed kid's biological father as her family member as well since he hold half the custodianship of the kid, and the kid spends almost half the time at his place)
I wonder if I can just upload my wife's Canadian passport and add an explanation letter that we do not have access to my wife's exhusband's passport. Or can I simply exclude my wife's ex in the kid's family information form?
This must be a rare situation but I really hate CIC's system at this point.
btw, do I need to notify CIC that my wife is pregnant or shall I just wait till our baby to be born and send baby's birth certificate(He/She will be Canadian citizen for sure) to CIC?
thanks a lot!
