I am filling out the post-ITA questionnaire and Im at the documents section and when I want to log out, it says:

The details you have provided and/or documents you have uploaded have been saved.
You have 60 days, including today, to complete this application or profile.

I when I am outside the actual application, it says 88 days left to submit. /the actual deadline/

That 60 days is old policy. 88 days or the number of days it mentions in your application is correct.

Whatever you have uploaded and saved will be gone after 60 days.

So you will have to fill out forms and upload documents again (and submit before ITA expires).

Hm? Why is that?

I have noticed this is a MyCIC thing. Same applies for all online immigration applications, not only EE applications.

Did you apply already? It was the same for you?

There's something more to it I afraid.

Nop never applied through EE. But I remember seeing similar message for other applications: "You have 60 days, including today, to complete this application or profile." What it means is that it's just deleted after 60 days and you start from scratch.

This is wrong! You have 90 days to submit your application. For you it is now 88 days. The message you get while logging out is old and has not been updated. I submitted my application after 75 days. Don't worry and just follow the 88 day count.

Yes, not disputing that.

When did you start filling out the post-ITA questionnaire? How many days after getting ITA?

No, that means that you didn't submit in time for the old system and your ITA expired. You would need to wait for the next round of invites.

Now with the new timing, there are conflicting timelines on the profiles (one section shows the old version, one the new). You absolutely have 90 days to submit, your profile will not be wiped after 60 days.

Why does it matter? Lets say right away.

When you start an online application with mycic it gives you 60 days from the start date to complete the application (you can try it out and see for yourself). That's why asking.
