Post graduation work permit

Hello,
Please help my brother is in Canada. He has finished and granted his bachelor degree. He got his completion letter and degree. The only remaining is the recent education transcript cic asked. York University is unable to send him his official transcript due to corona. Can he applied with the unofficial transcript found on his YorkU account ? The only thing remaining is the transcript. Please help

You can order an online transcript, it doesn't need to be a printed one.

Hi,

I´m a York U student and am applying for a PGWP too. You should put the transcript request at https://registrar.yorku.ca/transcripts as you'd normally do. Then, email transcpt@yorku.ca and let them know that you are using the transcript to apply for a PGWP. It's the only time when they issue unofficial transcripts to students. Otherwise, they won't do it and they'll ask you for the email address of the institution you want the transcript to be sent to -which doesn't apply here. Make sure to explain why you're submitting an unofficial transcript in a Letter of Explanation (submitted in the Client Section).

As a York U student, you can also ask for advice at York International (https://yorkinternational.yorku.ca/contact-us/). The advisors are certified to give immigration advice and will be happy to help you with your application.
