post graduation work permit

Hi Team,

My wife is planning for one year course in canada and I understand i will be issued an open work permit for the same duration, I have checked on the website that university is applicable for PGWP as well, Can someone guide me with the below items.

1. How fast can i get an open work permit and a dependent visa for our child with her visa.
2. Will my open work permit be extended post her PGWP for the same duration.
3.I am currently working in NOC0213 and my wife in 2173 , how soon will we be able to start our PR application process ?
4. If i get a job in any organisation of my NOC code, how easy is to get a LMIA certificate from them ?

1. You MAY be issued with a work permit. Check the processing times for your country.

2. You would only be able to extend your work permit based on your wife's PGWP if she has a NOC A, B or 0 job.

3. You can apply for PR whenever you qualify. You are going to need to do that research yourself.

4. Extremely difficult. Don't expect that you will find an employer willing to apply for an LMIA.
