Hey guys,

I just got a quick question to be asked.

Do we need Police clearance certificate while applying for PGWP? Is there anybody out here been asked for one when applied for their PGWP especially for those who lived in a country other than their home country for more than 6 months?

it's my friend who will be applying and has got no clue about checklist since he hasn't complete his studies as yet.. I thought of asking generally just to get an idea how the process work..

What's your thought on this please? Do CIC really asked for one while applying PGWP?

Police clearance certificate is not required for PGWP.

So, in a nutshell, it doesn't really matter to CIC even the applicant lived in another country for more than 6 months while applying for PGWP??
They do not need PCC.

Not for PGWP but PCC will be required for immigration purposes.
