Post graduation extension application

Hi, I am really worried about my post graduation permit extension because I applied through paper last december and mailed it to them and saw that the office received it. I have no number or uci number from them to check if they really are processing it or something to use to see what’s happening to my application. Is it normal for them to do this or just wait until my 118th day is done?

Im worried because my visa will expire on may
 
Did you apply for an extension of a non-extendable PGWP?

If so, they may have returned the application as "incomplete".

It is extendable. I applied because i wasn't given a complete time because my passport was about to expire and had to renew it.

In that case, it might be worth making a call to the IRCC call centre for information.
