Post Graduate Work Permit Extension [COVID-19]

Hi,
Is there a way by which I could extend my Post Graduate Work Permit temporarily? My IELTS got cancelled because of COVID and hence I am not in the pool for Express Entry.

As far as aware there is no provision to extend a PGWP due to COVID

Any updates or has anyone had their pgwp extended due to covid?
My pgwp expires at the end of this month (August). I still need 2 months of work experience to qualify for the Express Entry CEC, but haven't been able to find work due to covid.
