Hi
I’m currently an international student at Humber College and I have some questions regarding the PGWP.
When I first came to Canada 2 years ago, I was pursuing a 3-year accounting diploma. I was expecting I was gonna graduate in the summer from this program, but the program coordinator sent us an email saying they weren’t going to offer some courses of the last semester during the summer. After this, I decided I was going to change to the 2-year program where I only need to take one course (which is available during the summer) to graduate.
I’ve always kept my full-time student status throughout the program and my question is, am I going to have any issues when I apply for the work permit considering it took me more than the 2 years to graduate?
Thanks and I’ll appreciate your replies
