Folks,

I had filled the generic application form & selected the option of "Post Graduation - No Degree" under highest level of education for both myself and my wife. Could you confirm that thats right?

I have Bachelors in Engineering (4 year Degree) , then did 1 year Sales and Marketing certification.

My wife has Bachelors in Business (3 yr degree), then 1 year Diploma in Accounting and 2 year Post Graduation Diploma in Finance.

Thanks!

This isn't really an urgent topic; one member was standing t the border and asking questions on the forum - that's urgent.

Can you list the options - I'm not sure people can remember them all

Sorry, i said urgent as i am revising the doc to submit in the morning ...but had this question in mind.

Here are the options and explanation....in my mind..Post graduation - No degree is fine....but want opinions to be sure.

No education.
Secondary or less
High school diploma obtained after elementary school and before college, university, or other formal training.
Trade/ Apprenticeship certificate/Diploma
Diploma completed in a specific trade, such as carpentry or auto mechanics.
Non-university certificate/Diploma
Training in a profession that requires formal education but not at the university level (for example, dental technician or engineering technician).
Post-secondary - No degree
Post-secondary studies at a college or university but no degree earned.
Bachelor’s degree
Academic degree awarded by a college or university to those who completed an undergraduate curriculum; also called a baccalaureate. Examples include a Bachelor of Arts, Science or Education.
Post Graduate – No degree
Post Graduate studies at a college or university but no degree earned (Master or PhD).
Master’s degree
Academic degree awarded by a graduate school of a college or university. You must have completed a Bachelor’s degree before a Master’s degree can be earned.
Doctorate - PhD
Highest university degree, usually based on at least three (3) years of graduate studies and a thesis. Normally, you must have completed a Master’s degree before a PhD can be earned.

Both you have bachelor degree, right? You should select Bachelor Degree unless I missed something here?

Here asked the highest degree, your another one does not count here. But you should disclose in background form-education section.

No the question is highest level of education & not specific to degree, thats why i tried to select "Post graduate- no degree". If they had asked degree then you are right, but not sure anyone had issues with CIC before with this...

hang on there, your highest is not bachelor? I did not see you mentioned you had done any post graduate study? is the marketing cert like something graduate cert/diploma (i.e. the post grad study before master degree)?

ok, read again and saw your wife did post grad study with no degree, which is right.

if your marketing cert is similar in nature, you are right also.

This section doesn’t acknowledge an Associate degree?
