Hello,

I applied for a Post-Graduation Work Permit, and it got rejected because "My school wasn't qualified for a post-grad visa".

I graduated from a post secondary private college, listed as a DLI (Designated Learning Institution), and they said my school is not part of it, when I know it is.

I graduated from the Randolph College in Toronto ON (in case you want to look it up)

What are my options? Can I apply for a different visa? Can I find a way to prove my school is part of the DLI?

Thank you!

Private schools is generally not qualified for post graduate work permit regardless whether the school is listed as DLI.

That's why most international students are advised to attend public schools instead of private schools.

Unfortunately it's not a mistake. You were correctly refused. Just because a school is on the DLI list doesn't mean that it qualifies for a PGWP. As explained above, generally speaking, completing studies at a private college does not qualify you for a PGWP once you graduate.

Your options are to complete an additional program in Canada to qualify for a PGWP (this time make sure you pick a public college). Alternatively, if you are able to secure a full time job offer and your employer is able to obtain an approved LMIA, then you can apply for a closed work permit.

You're most likely in Canada without status now. If you're working, you need to stop immediately. You should also apply to restore your status to visitor so that you can remain in Canada while you decide what to do next.
